The role of the Data Insights Specialist presents an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Data Analyst to become part of BluePeak Advisors' Marketing Science team as an IC3-level contributor. Key responsibilities encompass generating insights, designing and executing analyses to address critical business inquiries, automating performance reporting, and managing data integration from various sources to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess experience with contemporary data and analytics platforms, strong analytical capabilities, programming proficiency, data visualization skills, and a proven ability to translate data narratives into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Customer Insights Analysis: Identify impactful research topics and formulate questions that drive significant business outcomes. Conduct thorough customer analyses to elucidate business performance, recognize trends, and uncover actionable insights for enhanced results.

+ Data Visualization: Analyze and visualize data to reveal insights and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, facilitating understanding and informed decision-making.

+ Marketing Program Evaluation: Analyze marketing initiatives, including A/B testing of new strategies, to foster continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness. Collaborate with marketing teams to refine campaign targeting, messaging, and channel selection based on data-driven insights.

+ Data Management: Independently extract data from existing systems to support various analytical projects, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity through quality control measures.

+ Performance Reporting: Design and develop ongoing reports to track business performance and trends. Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports covering subscriber acquisition, customer retention, and other marketing and sales metrics.

+ Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document methodologies, findings, and best practices to ensure reproducibility and facilitate knowledge sharing. Share insights and expertise with team members to cultivate a collaborative learning environment within the Marketing Science team.

+ Cross-Department Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and business intelligence, to align marketing science initiatives with overarching business objectives. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across all organizational levels.

+ Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., Data Science, Machine Learning) are advantageous.

+ Professional Experience: 2-4+ years of experience in a marketing or sales analytics role, or related fields, demonstrating the ability to solve business challenges using data.

+ Marketing Analytics Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing principles, metrics, and KPIs. Experience with marketing analytics techniques such as customer segmentation, campaign evaluation, and ROI assessment. Ability to independently create datasets from existing systems.

+ Database Proficiency: Strong SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and retrieval. Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

+ Programming Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.

+ Data Visualization Expertise: Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques to create informative and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and presentations. Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn is preferred.

+ Big Data Exposure: Experience with at least one big data platform such as AWS, Azure, Databricks, Qubole, or Snowflake.

+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying complex technical concepts and analytical results to non-technical stakeholders.

+ Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders from various departments, including marketing, finance, IT, and operations.

+ Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, analytical, and action-oriented approach. Ability to systematically tackle complex problems, breaking them down into manageable components and developing data-driven solutions.
