Our organization is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst. The Business Intelligence Analyst will serve as an internal strategic advisor to stakeholders in Digital Services, assisting them in understanding their challenges, developing proactive, data-informed strategies, and performing quantitative analyses to guide business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with product, business, and engineering teams to collect requirements, formulate hypotheses, identify success metrics, and assess the feasibility of analyses in both current and future scenarios.
- Generate and sustain technical documentation (in Confluence) regarding analyses and dashboards.
- Acquire subject matter expertise concerning our client's primary systems.
- Design scalable datasets that can be utilized across various reports, dashboards, and analytical models.
- 8-10+ years of professional experience, including 7+ years in an analytical or data science capacity.
- Exceptional advanced SQL and data engineering capabilities.
- Outstanding analytical skills, creativity in problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to convert business requirements into SQL independently, without relying on code-generating tools, and comprehend existing complex SQL.
- Experience in reconciling data across multiple source systems.
- Familiarity with clickstream data and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) is essential.
- Proficient in Python or R programming alongside SQL expertise.
- Experience in Financial Services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Background in Strategy or Management Consulting is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Scripting Languages (Python and/or R)
- Advanced SQL knowledge
- Experience in Tableau development
