Business Development Manager

Electreon is a leading eMobility company with a unique and revolutionary EV-Charging solution. Our wireless charging systems charge electric vehicles while driving, incorporating mechanics, software, electronics, and HV electricity. We seek an experienced business development professional to join our team in Koln.

The business development group oversees generating business and growth opportunities by developing strategic alliances with key partners, opening new verticals, defining new use cases, and positioning and selling to key customers in defined segments. In this role, you'll lead these efforts end-to-end, working closely with the product and sales teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Study and understand Electreon's products, strategies, and value offerings, and acquire a general technical understanding of the system.
• Acquire deep knowledge and understanding of the transportation ecosystem to identify potential growth and collaboration opportunities.
• Leverage deep understanding of EU incentives programs to advance commercial opportunities, mainly in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Netherlands.
• Seek out and support responses to RFI, RFQ, and RFP opportunities.
• Identify major market stakeholders, understanding key interests, and build collaborations to promote business opportunities.
• Perform market and use case analysis to support business models and value offerings.
• Propose and implement sales and delivery strategies that support the company's go-to-market strategies and business objectives.
• Manage complex business engagements from initiation to closing.
• Analyze market feedback to support strategic product decisions.
• Work as a trusted advisor for partners globally for both business and technological matters.
• Work closely with clients and understand their daily challenges to identify and develop up-sale and cross-sale opportunities.
• Present and participate in industry events and forums to promote and support market discussions and initiatives.

Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience working in B2G or B2B sales or business development.
• Proven track record of closing business deals.
• Experience in managing, nurturing, and growing partner ecosystems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working on mobility or pertaining to EVs, ports, airports, and/or transit.
• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Proven track record in developing and managing complex business engagements from initiation to closing.
• Experience in developing high-value relationships at the executive level with partners and customers.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Self-learner and can hold a general understanding of technical details and specifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Strong understanding of local EV mandates and incentive regulations and programs - an advantage.
• Held technical or engineering roles in the past - an advantage.
• Entrepreneurship experience - an advantage.
