Business Development Manager - New York

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at SourcePro Search. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive business development strategies to achieve the firm's growth objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the firm's client base, with a focus on the NY/NJ markets
* Build and maintain strong relationships with attorneys and clients
* Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive landscape
* Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis
* Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to attract and secure new business
* Collaborate with partners and practice groups to create compelling client pitches
* Represent the firm at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events
* Establish and maintain a robust network of industry contacts and referral sources
* Work closely with partners, practice groups, and marketing teams to align business development efforts with the firm's strategic goals
* Facilitate internal communication and coordination to ensure seamless client service delivery
* Monitor and report on business development activities, outcomes, and ROI

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Law, or a related field
* MBA or Juris Doctor (JD) degree is a plus
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies
* Strong understanding of the legal industry and market dynamics
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders
* Proficient in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning
* Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
