Position Summary

The primary objective of this role is to implement brand strategies and initiatives in the field, ensuring optimal sales performance while effectively managing the designated territory and key accounts. Building robust customer relationships and addressing customer needs are paramount to maximizing both short-term and long-term sales outcomes, all while adhering to BioSpace's ethical standards and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets, brand KPIs, and financial objectives to meet or surpass established goals.
  • Develop pre-call strategies utilizing SMART objectives and conduct post-call assessments to enhance sales effectiveness. Address objections and concerns to secure actionable outcomes during sales interactions.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and expectations, fostering trusted relationships and achieving mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Design and implement a call strategy that meets established metrics, optimizing coverage and frequency to key customers to enhance access and sales potential.
  • Continuously gather insights on customer needs, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and product knowledge, sharing this intelligence with the in-field team and management to align strategies and anticipate market changes.
  • Articulate BioSpace's value proposition to healthcare providers and cultivate relationships with disease state experts and advocates to drive brand success.
  • Note: Prolonged periods of sitting (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day) are required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success in sales with strong presentation abilities.
  • Solid business acumen and proficiency in business tools; capable of strategic and critical thinking.
  • Ability to quickly adapt selling techniques based on customer behavior and preferences.
  • Effectively operates within a matrix organizational structure.
  • Innovative thinker who provides solutions to maximize business opportunities and tackle challenges.
  • Recognized as a credible resource among peers, fostering collaborative partnerships within the team.
  • Preferred: Proven sales performance in relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Preferred: Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical sector, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed care, or marketing.
  • Preferred: In-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes, recognized as an expert by stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in English, both verbal and written (for non-English speaking regions).
