Position Summary

The purpose of this role is to implement brand strategies and tactics in the field, ensuring effective sales performance while managing the assigned territory and key accounts. Building robust customer relationships and addressing their needs is paramount to maximize both short-term and long-term sales outcomes, always prioritizing patient welfare and adhering to BioSpace's ethical standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales performance metrics, brand KPIs, and financial goals to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Anticipate and address customer needs and challenges to foster trusted relationships and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Design and implement a call plan that meets established metrics while optimizing customer coverage and engagement.
  • Continuously enhance understanding of customer expectations, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and product knowledge, sharing insights with the team to align strategies.
  • Articulate BioSpace's value proposition to healthcare providers and cultivate relationships with disease state experts and advocates to enhance brand performance.
  • Maintain prolonged periods of sitting as required for fieldwork.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in sales with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Robust business acumen and proficiency in utilizing business tools; capable of strategic and critical thinking.
  • Ability to identify and adapt to various customer styles and behaviors effectively.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment.
  • Innovative in proposing solutions to maximize business opportunities and address challenges.
  • Recognized as a credible resource among peers, building collaborative partnerships within the team.
  • Preferred: Proven success in sales within relevant therapeutic areas. Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, or marketing.
  • Preferred: In-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects recognized by stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for non-English speaking regions.
