Position Overview
The Procurement Services Coordinator (Levels I/II) plays a vital role in managing procurement activities for a range of goods and services. A significant portion of the role, approximately 75%, involves utilizing decentralized procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding principles, methods, and practices related to high-volume purchasing
  • Interpreting and applying relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting
  • Building and sustaining effective relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Communicating effectively in both verbal and written formats
  • Conducting data analysis and deriving informed conclusions

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

Education: AA/AS Degree or higher
Experience: Minimum of one year of full-time experience in procurement-related tasks

General Criteria
Driver's License:
A valid California Driver's License, Class C or higher is required.

Background Verification:
A comprehensive criminal history and background check are required.

Physical Abilities:
  • Ability to operate office equipment with eye-hand coordination
  • Capable of sitting for extended periods
  • Proficient in data entry using a computer or calculator
  • Effective hearing and speaking abilities

Probationary Period:
This position includes a probationary period of six (6) months.
