Job Overview:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties encompass, but are not limited to:

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Maintain financial documentation in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
  • Ensure punctual completion of all financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Prepare and disseminate journal entries, supporting documents, bank reconciliations, financial statements, and budget variance reports.
  • Assist with various accounting tasks and projects as required.
Inventory Management & Account Reconciliation

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of all asset and liability accounts.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules.
  • Analyze revenue and expense transactions to ensure accurate recording.
  • Identify, investigate, and report on financial discrepancies and variations.
  • Resolve accounting inconsistencies and irregularities.
  • Maintain inventory records and oversee transaction monitoring.
Audit Assistance & Internal Controls

  • Support the preparation and coordination of financial audits.
  • Document processes and uphold internal accounting standards.
  • Review accounts payable, payroll, and daily sales reconciliations.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree in accounting or a related field.One year of experience in accounting or a similar financial support role.A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of specific requirements.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates within a professional office setting. Standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and photocopiers are routinely utilized.

POSITION TYPE/

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an expectation of 40 hours per week. Workdays are generally Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours as job duties necessitate.
