Job Overview:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Financial Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain financial documentation in accordance with established policies and practices.
- Ensure prompt completion of all financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Prepare and disseminate journal entries, supporting documentation, bank reconciliations, financial statements, and budget variance reports.
- Assist with various accounting tasks and projects as required.
- Reconcile all asset and liability accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules.
- Analyze revenue and expense transactions to ensure accurate recording.
- Identify, investigate, and report on financial discrepancies and variations.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Maintain inventory records and oversee transactions.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of financial audits.
- Document procedures and uphold internal accounting standards.
- Review accounts payable, payroll, and daily sales reconciliations.

Position Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree in accounting or a related field.1 year of experience in accounting or a related financial support role.A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of requirements.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an expectation of 40 hours per week. Workdays are primarily Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. However, evening and weekend hours may be required as job duties demand.
