Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly accounts payable processes: verify transaction details, schedule payments, and secure necessary authorizations.
  • Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy and preparing for payment.
  • Record member payments accurately to their respective accounts.
  • Maintain organized accounts payable documentation, including vendor files and invoices.
  • Oversee accounts receivable records, ensuring all transactions are documented correctly.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly billing statements to members.
  • Assist with the annual 1099 reporting process.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.
  • Keep spreadsheets updated related to financial transactions.
  • Document standard operating procedures for financial processes.
  • Respond to inquiries for information as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • Adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations, as well as organizational policies and standards.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Accounting or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and regulations governing financial transactions.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
