Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Conformal Coating Specialist to join our team at Elemaster USA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Conformal Coating environment and the Electronics Manufacturing Industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mask and/or tape circuit boards in areas that are to be free of conformal coating or potting.
  • Inspect assemblies to ensure proper coating coverage.
  • Maintain the coating and dispensing machines to ensure proper operating condition.
  • Maintain coating materials log to control FEFO (First Expired / First Out).
  • Remove any excess coating and perform manual touch-up on areas the coating machine may have missed to ensure boards maintain a consistent high quality.
  • Safely and securely transport circuit board racks from one destination to another to eliminate delays in the manufacturing process and production workflow.
  • Machine maintenance, which includes, changing the fluids and mixers and cleaning machines to ensure proper and efficient operation.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to sustain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
  • Be knowledgeable of the various materials used.
  • Must complete required Specific Function Training courses.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor to accommodate fluctuating production requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required.
  • 2-5 years' experience in PCBA Conformal Coating environment.
  • Successfully complete and pass internal courses offered by the company that are required to support the job function.
Working Conditions
  • Physical demands: While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, twist and reach during the workday.
  • Visual Acuity: Specific vision abilities required by the job is the ability to have clarity and sharpness from a distance, when in close view, peripheral awareness/vision (side vision), depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and color vision.
  • Work environment: Job duties are performed on the production floor in a factory setting. Noise level in the production work environment is usually minimal.
