Role Overview:
WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer II. This position plays a crucial role in fostering, executing, and overseeing initiatives to ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices. The engineer will work closely with various teams to enhance processes and minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Apply insights gained from shop floor issues to implement improvements.
2. Utilize investigative methods and conduct root cause analysis to tackle complex challenges and effectively execute corrective measures.
3. Design and implement training programs focused on quality and educate staff on company and ISO 9001 standards.
4. Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and industry benchmarks while coordinating internal audits.
5. Track and report on key performance indicators related to quality control and corrective actions.
6. Collaborate with Engineering, Service, Process, and Production teams to streamline operations and cut costs.
7. Engage with headquarters to align and refresh quality initiatives based on historical data and best practices.
8. Advocate for the Quality Management System (QMS) and safety protocols.
9. Manage technical customer complaints from start to finish, coordinating resources with Factory and Service.
10. Oversee the Quality Index System (QIS) and monitor quality-related KPIs.
11. Administer incoming inspection and final test control plans within SAP.
12. Supervise the Quality Management module in SAP.
13. Assess component deviations from a quality perspective.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

Skills and Knowledge:
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
2. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is essential; knowledge of ISO 19011 is preferred.
3. Expertise in root cause analysis and investigative techniques, including statistical methods.
4. Experience in SAP environments is required.
5. Understanding of Automation products is necessary; familiarity with WEG Automation products and UL standards is advantageous.
6. Proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is a plus.
7. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and requirements.
8. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
9. Experience in conducting internal audits, problem-solving, and developing corrective action plans.

Experience:
5-8 years in a manufacturing environment, with practical experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality control.
