Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Engineer

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in delivering technical guidance and engineering support to our production teams. Your focus will be on ensuring that our manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and adhere to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design engineering teams to provide insights on product manufacturability.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Evaluate and refine panel designs to boost production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Create templates and poka-yokes to enhance productivity and ensure product quality.
  • Offer technical support to the manufacturing team for the assembly, testing, and packaging of both new and existing low-voltage electrical panel projects, including prototypes.
  • Establish and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical panel design, assembly, and testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in CAD software and various engineering tools.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
