Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Service Director to lead our service departments in their assigned region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving efficiency and profitability, while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Coaching: Lead and coach service managers to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Advise and recommend changes and process improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and support the company vision and core values, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Performance Management: Regularly review department metrics financially and operationally to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures to ensure uniform and consistent business practices across all branches.
  • Relationship Building: Develop relationships with represented manufacturers to collaborate on support efforts.
  • Training and Development: Work with the Training department to ensure technicians receive proper training and are current with products.
  • Capital Expenditure Planning: Work with Service Managers to develop capital expenditure needs and submit to senior management for review and approval.
  • Issue Resolution: Work with Branch Operations Managers to resolve issues and develop individual service support plans for customers, rental department, and used equipment.
  • Inter-Departmental Relationships: Promote good inter-departmental relationships at the local branch and with other company facilities and departments.
  • Dispute Resolution: Work with Branch Service Manager and customers to resolve disputes or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of experience with a multi-branch, heavy equipment dealership, or related industry.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to organize, plan, and task completion to manage a high volume of department paperwork.
