Accounting Manager Job Description

PrideStaff is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in North Dallas. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside leadership and make an impact for a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of accounting professionals and ensure complete and timely accounting and reporting functions for the company.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor accounting team members, manage performance reviews, and participate in the hiring process as needed.
  • Review the team's work and various transactions, manage related A/P and A/R transactions, and ensure accurate processing.
  • Ensure resolution of client and vendor issues, and that accounts are reconciled and current.
  • Prepare and review monthly accruals, review financial and operational reports, and prepare management reports.
  • Develop and manage new reports to support the organization's reporting needs and participate in financial presentations.
  • Review financial processes and internal controls and make recommendations to improve processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting desired.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of full cycle accounting experience and 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team supervision experience.
  • Experience with various accounting systems and reporting tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Compensation:

The salary for this position is up to $95,000.00 per year.
