- Reconcile financial accounts, process payments, and verify transaction accuracy.
- Facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Update and maintain guest records in the hotel management system.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
- Manage charges to guest accounts accurately.
- Maintain the accounts receivable ledger with precision.
- Compile and prepare daily reports for management review.
- Reconcile all credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Safeguard the hotel premises and ensure guest safety.
- Post daily room charges and deposits accurately.
- Conduct audits of daily revenue and expense reports.
- Monitor hotel occupancy levels and adjust rate plans as necessary.
- Respond to phone inquiries and assist guests as needed.
- Ensure the integrity of all hotel documentation and records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages, such as Spanish, is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills are necessary.
- Excellent organizational abilities are required.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and procedures is beneficial.
- Proficiency in computer usage is expected.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
