Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Residence Inn San Jose. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout.
  • Room Assignments: Assign rooms to guests, ensuring that their needs are met and that they have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, following all hotel policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management, using clear and concise language.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve problems as they arise, ensuring that guests have a positive experience.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure that guests receive exceptional service.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable, responding to changing circumstances and priorities as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Warm and friendly demeanor, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
Compensation

$20 per hour
