Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Account Executive-Customs Brokerage to join our team at FedEx Logistics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling services to parties engaged in import/export activities to increase assigned territory revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the regional sales director to resolve anticipated and unanticipated customer problems in a timely manner and with minimal negative effect on the company.
  • Act as a liaison with other account representatives and customer service representatives to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the positive morale of the sales team by providing guidance and support to less experienced representatives.
  • Develop and execute a territory management program to include calling on existing key accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and trends to provide expert advice and solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide timely and accurate 30/60/90-day forecasts for the respective territory, including expenses, revenue, and new accounts.
  • Ensure that required reports are timely and accurate, and act as a liaison between customers and other functional areas.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Four (4) years of sales experience, preferably in international trade and customs brokerage.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Strong self-confidence to develop territory relationships in a highly competitive and price-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with customs regulations and procedures in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, as well as transportation procedures and regulations in the three countries.
  • Knowledge of FedEx Logistics services and products.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with customers and attend industry events.
