Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and nurture new sales prospects within the home care and assisted living markets.
  • Establish and sustain relationships with potential clients, referral sources, and community stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to pinpoint trends and opportunities in the home care and assisted living fields.
  • Design and execute outreach initiatives to promote the company’s services to targeted demographics.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, presentations, and tours for prospective clients and their families.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create and disseminate promotional content.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to boost brand visibility.
  • Work in conjunction with the operations team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients.
  • Utilize CRM systems to monitor interactions, manage leads, and report on sales performance.
  • Meet and surpass monthly and annual sales objectives.
  • Provide market feedback to management and product development teams to tailor services to client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to optimize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry standards within the home care and assisted living sectors.
  • Conduct follow-up activities post-sale to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services or referrals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in healthcare, home care, or assisted living.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong knowledge of the home care and assisted living market, including regulatory frameworks and key competitors.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with clients, families, and referral sources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a sales territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with a willingness to travel within the designated territory.
  • Capability to deliver presentations and facilitate discussions with clients and professionals in the healthcare sector.
  • Understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capacity to comprehend the specific needs and concerns of elderly clients and their families.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as necessary to attend networking events, conferences, and other business development opportunities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
