Senior Project Control Analyst
Job Overview:
As a Senior Project Control Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing project finances and schedules, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and management. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of various projects within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report on project expenditures, timelines, and technical outcomes, providing updates to the program manager.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure program execution aligns with established milestones and objectives.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial and program reports, including detailed Monthly Status Reports (MSRs).
  • Assist in the creation of financial documents such as Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Annual Operating Plans.
  • Develop and analyze spending plans and Estimates to Complete (ETC) for assigned projects.
  • Support the procurement process by preparing purchase requisitions and tracking subcontractor expenses.
  • Provide necessary documentation for customer invoicing and analyze discrepancies between forecasts and actuals.
  • Engage with customers and internal teams regarding contracts and pricing matters.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to Task Orders, including staffing and travel arrangements.
  • Generate and deliver regular reports on contract and task order management as required.
  • Facilitate quarterly meetings to update stakeholders on project status and projections.
  • Maintain a Quality Control Plan to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Adhere to deadlines for financial reporting and documentation submissions.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with funding and project execution.
  • Act as a liaison for financial information flow between management and finance teams.
  • Coordinate with Accounting on all financial charges related to contracts.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable Aging and resolve any issues for assigned projects.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of unbilled receivables.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to resolve billing inquiries promptly.
  • Monitor contract thresholds and funding requirements for subcontractors.
  • Conduct quality control checks on financial data entered into systems.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary to support team objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in project control and financial analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of government contracting procedures and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with various contract types, including FFP, T&M, and Cost Plus.
  • Familiarity with Unanet is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of quality assurance principles is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
