The Civi Group is collaborating with a reputable General Contractor in search of a Construction Project Coordinator.

Our client has a robust annual revenue of $60M and has established itself as a reliable and expanding entity with over four decades of industry experience.

Compensation is experience-dependent, with a maximum of $110K.

This Construction Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in a significant undertaking: the renovation of a major transportation hub. This project is crucial for enhancing intercity rail services and improving commuter access.

The initiative aims to rectify existing infrastructure deficiencies and upgrade facilities to boost operational capacity. Funding for this renovation is secured through a federal grant obtained collaboratively by transportation authorities.

Position Title: Construction Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Superintendent and Night Superintendent in overseeing on-site construction operations, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and specification-adherent project completion.
  • Implement and uphold safety standards and regulations, fostering a secure work environment for all personnel on-site.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project timelines, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely task completion.
  • Facilitate collaboration among subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to promote effective communication and teamwork.
  • Identify and assist in resolving challenges or conflicts that may arise during construction, implementing strategies to keep the project progressing smoothly.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory capacity, ideally as a Construction Project Coordinator in civil or heavy civil projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Office365, and Adobe PDF.
