Job Overview

Position Summary: The Cybersecurity Grants Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing grant-funded cybersecurity initiatives aimed at enhancing local law enforcement capabilities.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess a clean background and the ability to secure federal security clearance. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Work Environment: This is a contract position with a duration of one year, operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, totaling a 35-hour work week with a one-hour lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit exceptional oral and written communication skills, effectively conveying complex computer and information technology concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight, manage multiple schedules and events, and collaborate with various organizations while maintaining high standards of personal and professional integrity.
  • Coordinate and manage cybersecurity training programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee travel arrangements and scheduling for task force members.
  • Collaborate with the Central Management Office on matters related to grant funding, procurement, and necessary documentation.
  • Engage with the Cyber Task Force, ensuring the successful implementation of several cybersecurity initiatives funded through grants provided to local law enforcement agencies.
  • Maintain ongoing grant funding through quarterly reporting, proposal continuations, and adjustments to accounting and budgetary allocations.
