Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Consultant II to join our team at Reliance Matrix. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our National and Strategic Account Customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support
    • Partner with Client Managers to provide clients with alternative solutions and support the execution of business plans.
    • Collaborate with Client Managers to deliver on strategic initiatives and drive client success.
    • Work closely with Client Managers, sales, and operational partners to realize client goals and objectives.
    • Share expertise with Client Managers to help create client strategies and support the execution of those strategies.
    • Support Client Managers and Operations with the rollout of new technology and products.
    • Train and support clients on employer-facing systems and provide data analysis support.
    • Work with brokers, sales, and account management on requests for data and provide support for Client Services Inventory analysis.
    • Provide medical underwriting support, including applicant status, EOI maintenance, and reporting.
    • Maintain client payroll calendars for accurate benefit calculation and work with clients on communication, including intake letters and scripting.
    • Assist Client Managers with annual stewardship reporting packages and presentation content.
    • Attend and/or host internal and external conference calls/meetings with clients, Operations, Claims, and other stakeholders.
  • Client Management
    • Deliver exceptional customer service as the main point of contact for clients on day-to-day account management needs.
    • Develop strong relationships with Client Managers, clients, consultants, sales partners, operations, and other internal and external partners.
    • Achieve or exceed assigned metrics for client persistency and customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative
    • Maintain account management database for assigned clients.
    • Create meeting agendas, minutes, and track all deliverables and project plans.
    • Create and maintain standard operating procedures as needed.
    • Coordinate with clients and brokers on enrollment and benefit fairs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2 years of experience with large case group insurance clients.
  • Group life and health license.
  • Self-driven, motivated individual with a consultative mindset and excellent skills at building strong relationships.
  • Ability to work as a team, under the direction of Client Managers.
  • Knowledge of group insurance underwriting a plus.
  • Expertise with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and other basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
