Position Overview:
The role of the Program Manager is crucial for the effective oversight and execution of projects within the Mass General Brigham's International Center for Genetic Disease. This position provides a unique opportunity to engage in pioneering international genomic medicine initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will collaborate closely with various departments, including clinical and research teams, as well as external partners and dignitaries. The responsibilities include:

  • Providing managerial, logistical, and administrative leadership.
  • Overseeing project management on behalf of senior leadership.
  • Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Managing the center's digital presence and resources.
  • Assessing staffing requirements and participating in recruitment processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
  • Supervising team members to ensure they meet required competencies and training.
  • Facilitating communication and problem-solving through regular team meetings.
  • Acting as a liaison between financial and research teams regarding project funding.
  • Coordinating educational programs aimed at training healthcare professionals in genetic issues.
  • Addressing technical challenges as they arise.
  • Organizing meetings with collaborators and international visitors.
  • Managing the schedule of the center's director.
  • Providing opportunities for research involvement and scientific contributions.

Working Conditions:
This role requires adaptability to time-sensitive tasks and may involve availability outside standard business hours due to global collaboration.

Supervisory and Fiscal Responsibilities:
The Program Manager may oversee a small team and contribute to the management of various funding sources, including grants.

Qualifications:
