About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to join our team at Mass General Brigham. This is an exceptional opportunity to work at the forefront of international genomic medicine efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide managerial, logistical, and administrative direction to support the successful management and implementation of projects within the International Center for Genetic Disease (iCGD).
  • Manage projects on behalf of the Director and other leadership staff, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and oversee standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Oversee the iCGD website, Cloud accounts, and GitHub repositories, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
  • Determine staffing needs, interface with HR, and participate in hiring decisions to build a high-performing team.
  • Manage regulatory and compliance with IRB protocols, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Supervise staff, including project coordinators, data managers, and research assistants, to ensure they meet departmental and institutional requirements.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration among team members, running weekly staff meetings and other meetings as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between the financial management team and research team, ensuring timely updates on project status and associated funds.
  • Manage course and lecture series, including keynote speakers, lecturers, and participants, to train physicians, scientists, and genetic counselors.
  • Monitor technical issues and take immediate action to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Organize online or in-person meetings with collaborators and visiting delegations, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Oversee the schedule of the iCGD's director or supervise the assistant tasked with this duty.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience or BS with 5+ years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management, with a strong understanding of hospital operations within research or clinical divisions.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Experience with oversight of budgets, IRB, and grant application processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with interdisciplinary teams to effectively manage and deliver on project goals.
  • Familiarity with Cloud environments is a plus.
