About the Role

The Business Development Executive will be the driving force behind finding and developing new client relationships and managing on-site maintenance contracts to achieve personal sales goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet personal sales targets by developing and managing new client partnerships
  • Engage in networking opportunities, business meetings, and other forms of client entertainment to connect with high-level executives for proposal development
  • Identify and pursue prospects in target markets through cold calling and follow-up efforts, expanding the business into new regions
  • Conduct market research and utilize data to uncover new opportunities and maintain a steady pipeline
  • Assist other sales associates with proposal development, participate in staff meetings, and help with annual business plan development and sales planning
  • Maintain a database of expiring contracts and lost proposals for re-bid and renewal, contributing to the overall sales strategy with standardized prospecting and proposal materials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years' experience in sales preferably in the facilities management or Operations and Maintenance field
  • Related experience in property management a plus
  • Strong customer presentation skills and a demonstrated sales aptitude
  • Experience in developing technical and cost proposals

Additional Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel for work throughout a multi-state territory
  • Must be located in or near Philadelphia, PA to report into the office a few days/week

Compensation and Benefits:

$85,000-$120,000 base salary range, dependent upon industry experience

Additional commission potential ranging from $20k-$30k+ in year 1 (growing YOY)
