Talent Acquisition Manager

About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Manager for Sales Recruiting will play a vital role in driving strategic recruitment initiatives for UniFirst's Award-Winning Sales Organization across the United States and Canada. This position combines recruitment expertise with mentorship and cross-functional collaboration, allowing you to significantly influence the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate a high-performing recruitment team that embodies UniFirst's commitment to excellence and our status as an employer of choice.

• Inspire and mentor our internal recruiting team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

• Oversee team dynamics, set clear objectives, and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities to team members.

• Lead with a focus on customer satisfaction, integrity, strategic agility, and a holistic enterprise mindset.

Recruitment Innovation

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all Sales Recruitment initiatives.

• Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies and continuous process enhancements.

• Manage special projects and initiatives related to sales recruiting as necessary.

Systems & Reporting

• Oversee the effective use of our Application Tracking System (ATS) and additional hiring platforms (e.g., Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn).

• Provide weekly progress reports to the C-Suite and Executive Leadership teams, ensuring transparency and alignment.

• Leverage data analytics to assess and refine current hiring processes, delivering actionable insights to leadership and hiring teams.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years in full-cycle recruiting and/or sales experience, with 3-5+ years in a leadership capacity demonstrating a track record of driving results through mentorship and team development.

• Strong command of Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo preferred) and job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with on-site presence 2-3 days per week.

• Willingness to travel as needed, up to 20%.

• Proven experience in collaborating with and influencing senior leadership.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated capability to drive results through effective coaching and mentorship.

• Strong analytical, project management, and reporting skills.
