The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structured sales processes, pipeline management, and coaching individuals with varying levels of experience.

The successful candidate will oversee 8-10 branch locations, driving profitable sales growth within each area. A bachelor's degree in engineering, technical field, marketing, business, or related area is required, with a master's degree in business being a plus.

The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. This includes a competitive commission structure, company vehicle, technology package, expense account, health insurance, life insurance, 401k with company match, paid time off, and career development opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Drive revenue growth for rental HVAC solutions through Johnson Controls (JCI) branches, contractors, and end-users in the region.
  2. Maximize contribution margins by refining pricing strategies for all products and services.
  3. Establish, monitor, and enforce selling expense targets to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  4. Collaborate with senior management in shaping the strategic direction for the rental business as it evolves.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical Field, Marketing, Business, or related area.
  • A minimum of 10 years of sales and sales management experience in industrial products, particularly within the HVAC rental business.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate and mentor a sales force.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
