About the Role
The Facilities Maintenance Manager is vital in supervising a team of adept maintenance technicians, ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of production machinery. Key responsibilities include organizing and scheduling maintenance tasks, coordinating activities to uphold quality standards, and collaborating with management to meet safety, cost, and delivery goals. Furthermore, this role contributes to brand identity and drives profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive log of preventative and corrective maintenance work orders.
- Oversee material requisitions necessary for machinery repairs.
- Address quality issues and provide constructive feedback to production, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, proactively identifying and resolving safety concerns.
- Monitor and manage equipment downtime, striving to improve uptime metrics.
- Prepare reports as required, schedule technician training sessions, and supervise equipment installations and modifications.
- Maintain employee records and assist in quality investigations when necessary.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience managing maintenance teams.
- High school diploma required; Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology preferred.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in industrial multi-craft maintenance and familiarity with automated systems.
- Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
