Role Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Lead is essential in supervising a team of adept maintenance technicians, ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of production machinery. Key responsibilities include planning and organizing maintenance tasks, coordinating efforts to meet quality benchmarks, and collaborating with management to fulfill safety, cost, and delivery goals. The role also involves contributing to brand identity and driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a comprehensive log of preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Oversee material requisitions necessary for machinery repairs.
  • Address quality issues and provide insights to production, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, proactively identifying and resolving safety concerns.
  • Monitor and address equipment downtime, striving to improve equipment availability.
  • Generate necessary reports, schedule technician training, and supervise equipment installations and modifications.
  • Maintain employee records and assist in quality investigations as required.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience managing maintenance teams.
  • High school diploma required; Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in industrial multi-craft maintenance and familiarity with automated systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
