Job Summary

As a key member of our sales team, the Director of Leisure Sales will be responsible for leading and managing all day-to-day activities related to the sales function. This includes building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve property sales objectives. The successful candidate will provide support for sales activities for larger, more complex accounts, monitor and manage against team booking goals, and make recommendations on booking goals for direct reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve property sales objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Monitor and manage against team booking goals and make recommendations on booking goals for direct reports
  • Provide support for sales activities for larger, more complex accounts
  • Assist with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external
  • Participate in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked
  • Analyze and report on sales and financial data to identify areas for improvement
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, and 8 years of experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, and 6 years of experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
