Position OverviewThe Senior Culinary Supervisor will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in their designated area while upholding sanitation standards. This role involves leading various tasks across kitchen stations.
This position requires adherence to recipe standards to ensure that all prepared food meets the high standards of Exact Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional service consistently.
- Adhere to Exact Sciences standards for food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation.
- Ensure that preparation stations and the kitchen are properly set up and stocked; assist team members in stocking and setting up stations accurately.
- Prepare ingredients, cook, and assemble dishes according to recipes.
- Implement portion control and minimize waste to maintain costs within forecasted limits.
- Maintain a clean workstation by cleaning prep areas, kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves, and managing leftovers appropriately.
- Ensure timely preparation of all dishes by restocking ingredients at the workstation and meeting prep times for smooth service delivery.
- Cook menu items and support other kitchen staff as needed.
- Lead specific tasks and projects related to kitchen stations with guidance from sous chefs.
- Mentor and provide indirect leadership to kitchen personnel.
- Comply with sanitation and safety standards within food services, ensuring all staff adhere to these standards.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Be available to work designated schedules, including nights and weekends, and overtime as required.
- Lift up to 50 pounds for approximately 10% of a typical working day.
- Work seated for approximately 10% and standing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Utilize mobile devices, tablets, or computers for approximately 50% of a typical working day.
- Perform various physical tasks, including grasping, pinching, turning, and reaching.
- Have the ability and means to travel between locations as necessary.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 4+ years of experience in food service, hospitality management, or a related field.
- 1+ years of indirect leadership experience.
- Must possess Serve Safe Certification at the time of hire or be able to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Basic computer skills, including internet navigation, email usage, and word processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
The salary range for this position is $42,000 to $67,000 annually. This role is eligible for bonuses and company stock upon hire and annually.
