Digital Sales Director

Nexstar Broadcasting seeks a highly skilled Digital Sales Director to lead our local sales team in driving revenue growth through multi-platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in digital media sales, with a strong understanding of the latest ad technologies and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue targets in digital and linear platforms
  • Work closely with Account Executives to develop results-driven marketing solutions across multiple platforms
  • Attend sales calls to develop new accounts and maximize existing ones
  • Manage sales assistants and provide training on multi-platform solutions and reporting metrics
  • Prepare and lead weekly sales meetings
  • Assist with the recruitment of talented sales professionals
  • Manage digital inventory and pricing
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Minimum three years' experience in media sales, preferably in linear and digital
  • Current knowledge of digital ad technology, online ad serving, Google Analytics, and social platforms
  • IAB and/or Google AdWords certification a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office products required
  • Experience with Wide Orbit, CRM software, Nielsen, and ComScore a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
