We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Cambria Hotel Nashville Airport. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating top-line room revenue for assigned hotels and meeting or exceeding budgeted revenue expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Actively solicit new business opportunities through prospective customers and use network channels to open doors to new customers.
- Develop long-term relationships with venues and potential clients by maintaining disciplined verbal and written communications.
- Respond to RFPs and in-bound inquiries in accordance with established corporate guidelines.
- Quote pricing, meet with clients and hotel department managers to plan function details, space requirements, food service and decor.
- Maintain detailed information of all sales activity into property's CRM system.
- Respond to guest inquiries and coordinate special arrangements and requests.
- Mentor less experienced sales staff.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority, otherwise refer the matter to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Direct hospitality or hotel Cluster Sales experience (minimum 2 years).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team player with excellent guest relations skills.
- College degree and/or equivalent sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability to influence customers and provide excellent service.
