Regional Sales Manager

Position Summary:
The role of the Territory Manager is a pivotal sales position tasked with meeting designated revenue and product implantation objectives. This position emphasizes the cultivation of sales growth within previously unexploited or underrepresented accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes and nurtures relationships with both new and existing customers within the territory.
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of the product landscape amidst competitive pressures.
- Offers engineering, sales, and technical assistance in response to field inquiries on an as-needed basis.
- Ensures regional procedural case coverage.
- Provides support in various areas, including sales assistance, heart failure clinic support, training and education, clinical studies/data collection, and new product training.
- Creates and adheres to a strategic business plan.
- Handles necessary administrative sales tasks, such as managing expense reports, scheduling meetings, and organizing travel arrangements.
- Adheres to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, alongside other regulatory standards, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Fosters positive and collaborative communication with all levels of staff, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Engages with customers and associated institutions, including physicians and technicians, as well as customer purchasing and administrative teams.
- Collaborates with various levels of sales and management personnel.
- Possesses the ability to interact with patients effectively.
- Undertakes additional related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience of four years in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of successful sales or related business experience, ideally within the medical device sector.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and adhering to tight deadlines.
- Proficient in personal computer applications, including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Able to operate within a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business framework.
- Demonstrates the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Capable of leveraging and engaging others to achieve project goals.
- Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively engaging at various organizational levels.
- Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Possesses excellent organizational and follow-up capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Flexibility in scheduling for case coverage and client meetings during evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, depending on territory geography.
Preferred:
- Experience with direct quota achievement and performance metrics.
