Job Title: Director of Sales

This is a senior leadership role within Blackbuck Insights, responsible for leading and developing the sales function to drive revenue growth and market share.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the sales strategy, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends, and use this information to develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring consistent and efficient execution at each stage.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize the sales process.
  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, positioning Blackbuck Insights' data consulting services as the solution to their business challenges.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and proposals that showcase the company's value proposition.
  • Manage the CRM system to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and generate accurate sales forecasts throughout the pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to Blackbuck Insights' data consulting services.
  • Continuously assess client needs and provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance their data analytics capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a strong preference for experience in the data consulting services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence, and data consulting services.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

  • Ability to articulate complex ideas, deliver persuasive presentations, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Ability to negotiate terms and conditions, handle objections, and build mutually beneficial relationships with clients.
  • Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic and competitive sales environment.
