Senior Sales Director

At Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park, we're on the hunt for a seasoned sales professional to join our dynamic team as a Senior Sales Director - Luxury Hotel Group. This is an incredible opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in hotel sales, driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As a Senior Sales Director, you'll be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads, building and maintaining strong relationships with our esteemed clients, and crafting compelling proposals and presentations to showcase our hotel's unparalleled facilities and services.
We're looking for someone with at least two years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in an upscale brand hotel, who possesses valuable knowledge of sales skills and the ability to understand customer requirements. You'll need to be a skilled negotiator, able to secure favorable terms and contracts with clients while ensuring alignment with our hotel's policies and revenue objectives.
As a leader, you'll work closely with our events, catering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and exceptional guest experiences. You'll also stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting our sales strategies accordingly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and qualifying potential leads through research and following our hotel sales strategy and goals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with our esteemed clients to achieve optimum market share.
- Preparing compelling proposals and presentations to showcase our hotel's facilities, services, and offerings to prospective clients.
- Negotiating favorable terms and contracts with clients while ensuring alignment with our hotel policies and revenue objectives.
- Working closely with our events, catering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and exceptional guest experiences.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
