Position Summary: As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will be instrumental in driving new business through direct sales of fluid process equipment across designated territories. Your role will encompass managing sales operations and fostering relationships with clients in various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with a knowledgeable customer service team to ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage sales activities within the assigned region, focusing on building long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; a technical or engineering degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial sales, particularly in fluid process or handling equipment.
- Experience in sales to chemical plants, refineries, and papermills is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems is required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary, and some overnight travel may be required.
