Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee financial operations at one of our esteemed medical centers. This facility is dedicated to delivering top-notch medical services to the community, featuring a comprehensive range of healthcare offerings including acute care, surgical services, and emergency care.

The CFO will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
  • Enhance the financial performance of the hospital by analyzing current operations and identifying areas for improvement. Implement strategies to optimize costs and streamline processes while focusing on measurable outcomes in both operations and finance.
  • Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and performance reports.
  • Contribute to the preparation and submission of various financial reports as mandated by federal and state regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Foster employee development through effective management practices, creating a motivating environment that encourages high performance. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to team members.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • A thorough understanding of GAAP, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, and relevant tax laws is essential. Familiarity with all aspects of healthcare administrative operations, from patient registration to billing resolution, is required.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, with the ability to compile and interpret complex financial data. Strong skills in using electronic spreadsheets and databases are necessary.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
