Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Project Management Specialist in Technical Services to join our diverse and qualified team. This role will be based in a dynamic environment.

The project manager will offer organizational and technical guidance across the Digital Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) initiative at various locations. Responsibilities will include overseeing project development from initial award to delivery, mentoring team members, and managing project objectives, timelines, and budgets while adhering to company policies.

As a member of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology & Innovation team, you will define, develop, implement, and transition innovative technology solutions to manufacturing processes aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving quality. This position supports AMT Digital Communications and the development, production, integration, and deployment of secure communication solutions. The role requires providing organization and project management across all digital communications initiatives. Key skills for success in this position include meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, task prioritization, and the capacity to work with minimal guidance or vague requirements. This role involves collaboration with internal and external clients, program offices, various business functions, engineering disciplines, and executive management. Additionally, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is essential. Budgeting and project management skills will be critical for effectively scoping and executing assigned tasks and managing project efforts.

Basic Qualifications for Technical Services Project Management (Level 2):

Bachelor of Science degree with at least 1 year of experience in engineering or project management within the aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or production sectors; OR Master of Science degree with no experience required in the same fields. Proficiency in using ERP systems. Project/Program Management skills, including proposal creation, scheduling, and budget tracking. Experience in Earned Value Management, Financial Tracking, Staffing, and Financial Planning. Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset, including Jira and Confluence, or other task management software. A current and active DoD Secret level security clearance with a periodic re-investigation or an original adjudication date completed within the last 5 years. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access. Willingness to travel at least 10%.

Proficiency in using ERP systems. Project/Program Management skills, including proposal creation, scheduling, and budget tracking. Preferred Qualifications:

Current Special Program Access Experience with SAP Experience in Cost Account Management Experience leading scrums or project status meetings Experience collaborating with multiple IPTs, other stakeholders, and various DoD clients PMI PMP Certification or prior project management training Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Project, Visio) Experience managing hardware procurement and production activities Proposal experience and involvement in early phases of program lifecycle Experience with Digital Transformation, Secure Communications Systems, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality, Systems Integration, IIoT, and/or production manufacturing operations Digital Manufacturing experience Experience in hardware/software integration of manufacturing systems Prior experience in a dynamic environment with increasing production schedules and high delivery rates STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) degree Salary Range: $87,200 - $130,800 Salary Range 2: $107,300 - $160,900. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
