Job Overview:
As an integral part of the Facilities and Plant Engineering (F&PE) division, the chosen candidate will oversee a variety of complex Facilities Engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage corporate capital, overhead, and government-funded project timelines and financial plans (Maximo).
2. Supervise the design and support construction efforts using CAD software tools (MicroStation, Project Wise).
3. Collaborate with various engineering disciplines, internal stakeholders, and architectural & engineering firms to ensure projects are cost-efficient, adhere to budget constraints, and meet specified design requirements and timelines.
4. Create Statements of Work (SOWs), cost assessments, and financial plans.
5. Develop and maintain precise project timelines.
6. Generate reports, drawings, and specifications for a wide range of projects.
7. Make independent, informed recommendations and design decisions.
8. Conduct technical reviews for design, bidding, permitting packages, and construction documentation.
9. Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
10. Manage alterations in project scope.
11. Analyze capacity and demand of utility systems and plan for growth as necessary.
12. Provide technical assistance to the Facilities and Maintenance teams, including documentation of preventative maintenance strategies and spare parts recommendations.
13. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure funding requests align with the Long Range Plan (LRP) and other program objectives.
14. Identify project or program risks and implement actions to minimize impacts on strategic office/lab plans.
15. Lead or assist in various studies for current or upcoming programs or projects.
16. Prepare and deliver presentations to diverse stakeholders and project teams as required.
17. Travel as necessary for supplier site visits for Preliminary Design Reviews and Factory Acceptance Testing.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Facilities Engineering
- Proficiency in Design Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, REVIT, etc.)
Desired Skills:
- Facilities Engineering experience
- Knowledge of Integrated Master Scheduling
- Experience in a production setting
- Familiarity with Computerized Numerically Controlled (CNC) or robotic installations
- Machine Tool Repair or Alignment experience
- Machinery Acceptance Testing experience
Security Clearance:
This position requires a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens for consideration.
Work Arrangement:
Part-time remote work is available.

The annual base salary range for this position varies based on location and is subject to factors such as job responsibilities, candidate experience, and market considerations.
