Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of Cost & Schedule baselines, ensuring all project headcount projections are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Oversee project management tasks, balancing multiple priorities while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Act as a change agent, fostering an environment that promotes trust, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
  • Provide guidance on Earned Value Management and assist in bid reviews and internal projects.
  • Advise Control Account Managers on compliance with Earned Value guidelines.
  • Facilitate integrated baseline reviews and support the development of project master reports.
  • Engage in business management meetings to identify Cost & Schedule requirements and collaborate with Operations on resource allocation.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Mentor and develop Cost Planning personnel, providing constructive performance feedback.
  • Ensure effective staffing levels of employees and consultants while operating within established budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Business or Program Management, or 6 years with a Master's degree.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Program Planning/Scheduling using MPM/Cobra or similar software.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Possession of an active DOD secret clearance, with the ability to obtain special program access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a DOD manufacturing or engineering development setting.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in Aerospace and/or Defense programs, with knowledge of Integrated Program Management Reports.
