Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations

Position Overview: CM Medical is seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Vice President of Clinical Affairs within a pioneering medical device start-up focused on Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement (TMVR).
Company Background: Our client operates on a global scale, with a strong emphasis on innovation in the treatment of mitral regurgitation (MR). This organization is in search of a dynamic leader to spearhead clinical initiatives and oversee clinical operations and research in the United States.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the TMVR domain and a robust network of influential physicians in the structural heart field. This role requires a proactive, hands-on approach, as the company maintains a flat organizational structure with a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of clinical strategies to establish a new market segment.
- Engage with key opinion leaders and stakeholders to promote the adoption of innovative technologies.
- Drive clinical research initiatives with limited resources, demonstrating independence and initiative.
- Facilitate domestic and international travel to support clinical operations and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in mitral valve procedures and TMVR.
- Proven track record in start-up environments.
- Extensive connections with key physicians in the structural heart specialty.
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver results without extensive delegation.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business purposes.
- Background in clinical marketing is highly advantageous.
