The Role

The Vice President of Media & Archive Services will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Head of Americas Commercial. This leadership position is responsible for shaping and executing the strategy that drives the success of Iron Mountain's Global Media & Archive Services (MAS) division. The VP will oversee all aspects of revenue generation, growth initiatives, service delivery, and profitability across the full range of offerings.

With a deep understanding of customer requirements, market positioning, and technology-driven services, the VP will empower the Commercial teams to achieve their objectives and annual targets. This role also involves fostering partner relationships and exploring corporate development opportunities. The VP will coordinate efforts across various functional areas within Iron Mountain to meet immediate customer needs while aligning long-term strategies with regional and global goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery: Ensure optimal performance of all MAS operations, focusing on customer KPIs such as on-time delivery and quality standards. The VP will identify and address delivery challenges through operational excellence and effective management.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with finance partners to manage financial planning and performance for MAS operations worldwide. This includes forecasting, monitoring P&L, and developing strategies to meet financial targets.
  • Business Development: Drive revenue growth by collaborating with sales teams to create and implement effective marketing strategies. The VP will also engage with key customers and participate in contract negotiations.
  • Leadership and Talent Development: Focus on nurturing talent within the organization, identifying high-potential individuals for advancement, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading diverse operational teams, particularly in technical environments.
  • Strong financial acumen with a focus on P&L management and market strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans that drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
