Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team at SoCal Recruiting. As a Territory Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by cultivating relationships with plumbing wholesale and contractor customers in the commercial plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, fire protection, and irrigation sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Manage and grow existing accounts within the commercial plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, fire protection, and irrigation sectors.
  • New Business Development: Develop and establish new client relationships to expand our customer base.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Product Training: Train clients on product lines, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of features, benefits, and applications.
  • Relationship Building: Develop collaborative relationships with manufacturers.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Three (3) years experience in outside sales within the commercial plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, fire protection, or irrigation industries.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the commercial plumbing industry and current industry trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the designated territory as required.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: Base salary is negotiable and targeted at $100K to $150K.
  • Commission: Anticipated earnings are projected to exceed $200,000 in the first year, inclusive of base salary and commission.
