Job Title: Account Executive - Special Events Sales

Join H Star as an Account Executive - Special Events Sales and be a key player in driving revenue growth for our iconic stadium. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to attract new clients and increase revenue from existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative events and experiences
  • Conduct site tours, respond to inquiries, and make sales calls to existing and new clients
  • Prepare event proposals, contracts, and sales materials
  • Research and implement effective sales tactics and strategies
  • Partner with the Vice President to set sales targets and forecast revenue
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with sponsors, clients, and Astros staff
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with at least 1 year in special events sales
  • Degree in sports marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and sales proposal experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Developed network of local and national corporate contacts
Work Environment:

This role requires working in an office and stadium environment, with moderate to loud noise levels. You must be able to work in all types of outdoor weather conditions and within a stadium environment.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. You may be required to lift items up to 30 pounds at times.
