About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at Digital Realty. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving growth and revenue for our company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new demand for our sales organization through proactive outreach and lead generation.
  • Qualify and prioritize leads and prospects based on established criteria.
  • Develop and execute targeted campaigns to nurture and convert leads into sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including demand generation, marketing operations, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts to marketing and sales on the volume of qualified demand expected to reach the qualified lead stage.
  • Track and manage prospecting, qualification, and nurture activities in our sales force automation system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on content.
  • Proven experience planning, executing, and measuring customer co-marketing initiatives.
  • Proven ability to write about technical products/solutions.
  • Existing data center industry knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
