Mobile Crisis Intervention Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Crisis Response Worker for our Children's Mobile Crisis division. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely and be dispatched as needed.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide immediate therapeutic mobile crisis intervention services to children and adolescents in the community, available 24/7.
  • Stabilize situations to reduce the need for relocating children between living environments.
  • Assess children, adolescents, and families during intake, ongoing treatment, service delivery, and discharge processes.
  • Collaborate with treatment providers to develop comprehensive assessments and service plans.
  • Monitor medication adherence by evaluating symptoms, side effects, and compliance; recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Deliver substance abuse services, family consultations, crisis interventions, and support for vocational, educational, and employment needs.
  • Document all relevant information in the consumer's clinical record, including assessments, service plans, progress notes (using DAP format), and discharge summaries, ensuring all entries are authenticated and dated.
  • Engage with consumers face-to-face in their homes and within the community for approximately 65% of the work time.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • At least 1 year of post-Bachelor's experience working with children and adolescents in crisis situations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under the Agency's automobile insurance policy.
