We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Crisis Response Worker to join our Children's Mobile Crisis team. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while providing essential support to children and youth in crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver immediate therapeutic crisis intervention services to children and adolescents within the community on a 24/7 basis.
- Stabilize situations to reduce the need for relocation of children between living environments.
- Evaluate children and families during the intake process, throughout ongoing treatment, and at discharge.
- Collaborate with treatment providers to create comprehensive assessments and service plans.
- Monitor medication adherence by assessing symptoms, side effects, and compliance; recommend necessary adjustments to medication.
- Provide services related to substance abuse, family consultations, crisis interventions, and vocational, educational, and employment support.
- Document clinical information, including assessments, service plans, progress notes (in DAP format), and discharge summaries, ensuring all entries are authenticated and dated.
- Engage directly with consumers in their homes and communities for approximately 65% of your time.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of post-Bachelor's experience working with children and adolescents in crisis situations.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
- A valid driver's license with insurability under the Agency's automobile insurance policy.
