Work Environment:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support attorneys by offering administrative and research assistance, including document preparation and review.
  • Facilitate the preparation and response to discovery requests, managing extensive document collections for production.
  • Draft preliminary versions of basic court documents, correspondence, and other legal materials.
  • Assist attorneys with electronic discovery processes and presentation tools, including the organization of documents in digital databases.
  • Compile records and summarize billing information.
  • Organize and prepare outlines and summaries of records for internal review and client presentations.
  • Conduct research and background investigations using various sources such as public records and online databases.
  • Manage time entry and billing in accordance with firm policies.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications for Success:
  • Preferred educational background includes an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Paralegal in Estate Planning, Trusts, and Probate is required. Candidates with experience in Real Estate will also be considered.
  • Ability to analyze issues quickly and accurately.
  • Proficient in proofreading and editing documents to ensure precision, clarity, and grammatical correctness.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and energetic, with a strong work ethic.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to manage tasks effectively under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and customer service skills.
